After nine long months, the Granny Square Blanket is done! Yay, finally! I tell you, no one project has ever taken me this long to finish.......... well, except my kids, but you know. Ah, ha!
Ah, but look at it. I tell you, I love this thing. It's gorgeous to me. The colors are scrumptious, I think, although I know that, me being me, someone else would have been able to mix the colors up more beautifully. I don't care, this makes me happy. It's really heavy. I used a G hook, whice I don't think I'll do again very soon for a blanket. 
Do you like the edge? I think it's nice, looks even prettier on the edge than it did in the book. I will probably use this edge again, in fact. 
Now look, I'm all ready for snow. No, not really. I hate snow. But when it gets cold, I'll pull out this lovely thing.

Excellent, congratualtons. Mine took about 6 months but yor blanket looks bigger in the picture. Then on Christmas day i started another one! What will be the next project?
